Mar. 19th Pastor McCowan's sermon was entitled, "Our Future Self." It was taken from Luke 13:31-35 where Jesus was undeterred by threats, intimidation, or a call to run away. Instead, he ignored all these dangers and persevered because he was focused on the future. In the same way, we too should have the same kinds of tenacity and like Jesus keep our eyes on the prize. Apr. 9th Pastor McCowan's sermon focued on Jesus’ conversation with Pontus Pilate on the morning of “Good Friday,” when Pilate asked Jesus “What is Truth." Outline, Bulletin.

Customer retention is a huge concern for hotels, airlines, and other businesses.

Even Jesus is part of this commercial strategy. He explicitly refers to the rewards that will be distributed when history concludes and we gather in his presence.

Jun. 11th

Pastor McCowan's sermon was on the subject of Kairos time.

Kairos time is not necessarily a reference to the time on a clock, but those important moments of opportunity that come our way, which if taken advantage of can become for us places for major blessings.

July 9th

Pastor McCowan's sermon this weekend was entitled "The Goodness & Sternness of God" and how we as believers in Christ should respect both of these attributes of God.

Sep. 10th

Pastor McCowan’s sermon was entitled, “What am I getting out of This,” and was center on how we can remove destructive behaviors and attitudes from our lives so that we can grow and be more Christlike.

Oct. 8th

Pastor McCowan’s sermon was entitled, “Revenge Mania Smackdown: and the longing for retributive justice.” Retributive justice has to do with punishment and our desire to get even or destroy our enemies. The goal of Pastor McCowan's sermon is to determine if Jesus is for this kind of attitude and action or does he have something else in mind.

Nov. 10th

Do you have a horde of relatives coming for Christmas? If so, you might be glad to be alone when it's all over. But generally, we're built to live in community, and Christmas is not a time when we want to be alone. In fact, God does not want us to be alone, and our text tells us that we're "called to belong."
